About M. Soetermeer

Mare Soetermeer is a student interested in the field of transitional justice and the competition of historical narratives in the post-Yugoslav space. After finishing her bachelor in political science at the University of Amsterdam, she is currently enrolled at the University of Bologna in the master “East European and Eurasian Studies”. During her Erasmus exchange in Zagreb this semester, she hopes to further improve her Serbo-Croatian language skills and explore the politics of the Western Balkans.
